It is time to recruit you for the Dallas version of the
Breast Cancer 3-Day. This year we are walking on
November 7-9 in the North Dallas Area. Our camp is
Timberglen Park (Dallas TX 75287) and the route begins at
Southfork Ranch and ends at Southern Methodist
University.
A brief look at the map has us winding west through Plano
to Timberglen Park and then spending Day 2 in and around
Hebron, and then making our way to Dallas via Addison on
Day 3. Last year, we had 95 LATs and supervised athletic
training students come out as single or two day
volunteers. Together you made Dallas the BEST site for
Sports Medicine Care. I can guarantee you that the 2,400
walker participants would agree with me.
This year Ted Perry and I are teaming up again with our
returning 3-Day crew of Mike Pruitt, Mike Stokic, Kelley
Henderson, Lou Fincher, and our great sponsors Ben Hogan
Sports Therapy Institute and Brian Conway and Presbyterian
Sports Network and Ken Locker. We can’t do this amazing
event without you, so follow the instructions below and
sign up for an AM or PM shift on Friday, Saturday, or
Sunday.
NOTE: We are flexible with timing. Come work all day long,
one shift, or just for a few hours. You decide. We want
you on event and we can work around your schedule by
assigning you to a Pit stop that works best for you. Times
are only relative; just communicate with Cindy (ctrowbridge@uta.edu)
or Ted (ted.perry@gpisd.org).
1. Click or paste the link(s) below based on what
shifts you are interested in. Our crew coordinator Jason
Glassner set these up and they will really be helpful for
us as he will generate spreadsheets based on your
responses.

2. Prepare a copy of your current CPR certification and
Texas Licensure Card. Fax it to Cindy Trowbridge
817-272-3233. NOTE: All students on event must have CPR
card.
3. Get Cindy (ctrowbridge@uta.edu)
your t-shirt size ASAP so I can get them to Jason. You may
wear last year’s shirt, but why not get another one.
Thanks again. You will love your time on the 3Day.
